Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
CapitalCurve Advisory Pty Ltd ("CapitalCurve", "we", "us") operates the CapitalCurve Transcribe Chrome extension and the CapitalCurve CRM platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
What we collect
- Authentication credentials: Your email address and authentication credentials are used to sign you in. Passwords are hashed and are not stored in plain text.
- Meeting audio: When you start a recording, the extension captures audio from the selected meeting tab and, when enabled, your microphone. Audio is uploaded to your authenticated CapitalCurve workspace for transcription.
- Transcripts and insights: Deepgram processes meeting audio to produce transcripts. Anthropic processes transcript content to generate requested summaries, action items, and key decisions. Audio, transcripts, and generated insights are stored in your authenticated workspace.
How we use your data
- Transcribe meeting audio to text
- Extract action items and meeting summaries for your CRM
- Match meetings to clients in your CRM based on participant email addresses
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to meeting transcription and CRM integration.
Data storage and security
- Audio files and transcripts are stored on servers in Sydney, Australia (Vultr Sydney data centre)
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Audio files are stored in MinIO (S3-compatible object storage) with access restricted to authenticated users
- Database access is protected by authentication and role-based access controls
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your meeting data. Deepgram receives meeting audio to provide transcription, and every CapitalCurve transcription request opts out of Deepgram's Model Improvement Program. Anthropic receives transcript content when you request summaries or action items. Provider handling and retention are governed by CapitalCurve's service agreements and configuration.
Data retention
Meeting audio, transcripts, and associated data are retained in your authenticated workspace until you delete the meeting. For recording sessions that have an explicit artifact-retention period, raw audio and other raw artifacts may be removed earlier while derived meeting data is retained. You may request deletion of all your data by contacting us.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at privacy@capitalcurve.io for any privacy-related requests.
Chrome extension permissions
- tabCapture: Captures audio from meeting tabs for transcription
- offscreen: Runs the audio recorder in a background document (required by Chrome Manifest V3)
- storage: Stores your login session and recording state locally in your browser
- activeTab: Detects if the current tab is a supported meeting platform
